The Collaborative of the SCFD is your membership community created for SCFD-funded organizations. The Collaborative’s mission is simple but powerful:
“To do together what we cannot do alone.”
Any SCFD-funded organization (Tier I, Tier II, Tier III) can opt-into membership. Dues levels and associated benefits vary.
September 1, 2026-August 31, 2027
Enrollment period is June 11-Aug 3, 2026 for September 1 start.
Connect with peers, learn from nonprofit and other sector professionals, and share your own successes while visiting other organization locations
4 – 6 sessions per year
Special meetings for the leadership (executive level staff, board of directors) of your organization to meet and have conversations around pressing topics
2 – 3 sessions per group per year
90-minute sessions designed to help you connect with others either within a specific area of work or based on a specific topic
Roundtable groups include:
8+ sessions per year
High value sessions with experts created around the needs of the membership, industries, and the current climate
Examples of previous professional development sessions include:
~4 sessions per year
Sessions open to staff across all departments and member organizations to create a rare space for cross-functional connection, shared learning, and partnership-building around specific topics
Access to year-round tools, discounts, listings, and other member-only resources
The TRG Arts Joint Database is a TRG Community Network that allows you to upload your patron list to gain access to demographics, buying habits, and crossover with other organizations.
Campaign Preparation: Combine consumer data from multiple sources and then segment your lists based on specific consumer behaviors to create targeted mail, email, and phone campaigns. Ensure your lists are up-to-date by using our routine National Change of Address updates.
New Prospect Discovery: Grow your consumer base by joining a TRG Community Network. You’ll be able to discover and target new prospects most likely to respond to your campaigns through our permission-based list trading tool. Also leverage digital ad campaigns by utilizing our partnership with Mogo Arts
Gain leadership experience and community visibility.
Staff from your organization are able to apply to serve as members of The Collaborative’s Board of Directors (including positions like Board Officers and Liaisons)
Each organization has one vote in the annual general election for the Board of Directors
The Collaborative often looks internally to members to present on topics, participate in panels, and recommend topics. These are opportunities to showcase your own individual expertise or what your organization is doing to the larger membership.
By being an active participant in this community, you will have many opportunities to raise awareness of your organization and its work and impact in the community

Pathways Grant is an internal grant given to Full Level members to assist in scholarships to schools, nonprofit community programs and transportation to programs in the 7-SCFD counties. Scholarships are given at the discretion of the organization and follow guidelines set forth by the program.
