Girls Create summer camp program ignites the passions of 6th to 10th grade girls in playwriting, comedy, fashion design, and self-expression through art. Professionals teach, guest artists share their expertise, and community mentors guide and encourage – empowering girls to lead and effect change in themselves and others through creative learning.

Girls Stand-Up, Girls Write, Girls Design Fashion, and Girls Artfully Minded seek to encourage girls to tap into their creativity, gain confidence, and do what they love! Each week-long camp culminates in a final project where we invite the community, including friends and family of the girls, to see their work. This Friday celebration is a highlight for participants and instructors!

Have you ever wanted to make your own game? Come to the Aurora History Museum’s STEAM-Powered History Camp to explore the history of your favorite games and create your own along the way. City of Aurora Cultural Arts Summer Theatre Camps.
Learn storytelling, improvisation, acting, staging and characterization. Develop lifelong skills such as empathy, listening, reading, memorization, focus & concentration. Build confidence as you work with other students to create characters, dialogue, monologues, scenes and performance pieces based on the themes and book series below with guidance from experienced theatre professionals and teaching artists. Early music literacy develops regions of the brain that go on to process complex math and science, not to mention the positive effects of music learning on language development and problem solving. We inspire our campers to better understand and appreciate the outdoors through a blend of weekly environmental topics, nature exploration, animal encounters, hands-on lessons, games, crafts, and free creek play. Curious New Voices Summer Playwriting Intensive. Everybody has a story to tell. What’s yours? This program is designed to support new and experienced young writers as they take on the exciting challenge of writing a new short play. All young artists collaborate with professional mentors, directors and actors to see their work brought to theatrical life as part of the creative development process.

The program runs weekdays from 9:30 – 3:30 pm. The festival of newly written plays will run July 28 – 30th at 7:00 pm.

Summer Musical Theatre Camp is back! Ovation West Performing Arts and Mountain Youth Musicals are working together to make this the best summer camp we’ve ever offered, and registration is now open!

Summer Musical Theatre Camp allows students 5 and up to grow their singing, acting, and dancing skills while making new friends and growing their confidence and social skills. Your kids will learn and perform scenes and songs from today’s most popular musicals including Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast,”   “Sing,”  “Willy Wonka” and “Hadestown,”  and attend skills-based theatrical workshops.

Parker Arts is excited to partner with some of the best enrichment providers in Colorado to offer a fun and educational summer for kids. Camps offered include half-day and full-day options from June 6 through August 5. To create a full day of enrichment, you may register to a morning camp and an afternoon camp in the same week and attend a supervised Lunch Bunch.

Wolf Theatre Academy is back for our 2023 summer season! One of Denver’s most acclaimed youth theatre programs returns full-time in 2023 with opportunities to work alongside professional theatre artists and to be part of award-winning productions that are open to everyone. Students in grades 4-12 will develop acting, singing, and dancing techniques in an intensive rehearsal schedule that culminates in sold-out performances in the Elaine Wolf Theatre—not to mention friendships and memories to last a lifetime.
