Learn storytelling, improvisation, acting, staging and characterization. Develop lifelong skills such as empathy, listening, reading, memorization, focus & concentration. Build confidence as you work with other students to create characters, dialogue, monologues, scenes and performance pieces based on the themes and book series below with guidance from experienced theatre professionals and teaching artists. Perform for family and friends during the last class.

Offering elementary and middle school outdoor summer camps. We inspire our campers to better understand and appreciate the outdoors through a blend of weekly environmental topics, nature exploration, animal encounters, hands-on lessons, games, crafts, and free creek play. Give your young artists an immersive and hands-on art experience this summer with Art Camps at Center for the Arts Evergreen (CAE). Our camps explore various media, from clay sculpting and wheel throwing, to pop art and mural painting, to the art of different cultures and the art of the masters. Whether new to dance or an experienced dancer, Colorado Conservatory of Dance has summer camps and intensives to fit your needs. CCD offers fun and creative summer programs everyone in a caring environment. We offer diverse dance classes at each level such as ballet, technique, jazz, modern, and contemporary.
Offering workshops designed exclusively for pre-teens and teens (11-17) interested in learning more about photography. Led by qualified instructors with decades of teaching experience, classes provide a solid foundation in film and digital photography with courses in darkroom technique, portraiture, street photography and more. Get your teens and kids outside this summer with the Colorado Mountain Club! We have lots of fun outdoor courses and camps this summer, from backpacking the Colorado Trail to summitting 14ers, rock climbing, paddling, nature exploration, hiking, and more. Curious New Voices Summer Playwriting Intensive. Everybody has a story to tell. What’s yours? This program is designed to support new and experienced young writers as they take on the exciting challenge of writing a new short play. All young artists collaborate with professional mentors, directors and actors to see their work brought to theatrical life as part of the creative development process.
The program runs weekdays from 9:30 – 3:30 pm. The festival of newly written plays will run July 28 – 30th at 7:00 pm.

The Gardens has camps for kids only that are full of garden explorations, art and science activities, mindfulness, and plants to take home. Registration opens in January, and usually fills up quickly! Camps take place at York Street and Chatfield Farms.
DCPA Education offers one and two-week day camps for imaginative students from PreK through high school. Led by professional teaching artists, our classes fuel creativity to help all skill levels improve and develop their acting craft.

Aerial Summer Camps for Youth and Teens (ages 5-17)
June 5-July 21. All levels of experience. Learn aerial, dance, and performance skills. Each week culminates in an informal performance. Come fly with us!
Lighthouse’s Young Writers Camps are led by published and award-winning writers, and each workshop is designed to foster creativity, self-expression, and excitement about writing in youth ages 8 to 18. We offer both in-person camps in fiction, poetry, screenwriting, playwriting, and more June 20 through August 11.
Camp at the Longmont Museum is filled with adventure and fun! Join us and discover history, art, music, culture, science, and more in these hands-on camps. Most camps average $12/hour or less! Scholarships available.

Parker Arts is excited to partner with some of the best enrichment providers in Colorado to offer a fun and educational summer for kids. Camps offered include half-day and full-day options from June 6 through August 5. To create a full day of enrichment, you may register to a morning camp and an afternoon camp in the same week and attend a supervised Lunch Bunch.
Weekly summer camps at Parker Arts are run by contracted enrichment providers. Camp curriculum and communication is provided by the enrichment provider. Camp registration is through Parker Arts.

Swallow Hill Music returns this summer with fun and interactive day camps for kids 6-18 years of age during June, July, and August. Each camp provides a full day of activities that can include hands-on experience to play in a band, and learn the basics of music and instruments while engaging in other general activities with new friends. We offer different themed camps that are specific for age groups led by professional music instructors and special guests. Session lengths vary. No auditions or previous music experience required. Welcome to a world of aerospace adventures! At Air & Space camp, enjoy fun, hands-on learning in week-long sessions designed for upper elementary and middle school students. Wolf Theatre Academy is back for our 2023 summer season! One of Denver’s most acclaimed youth theatre programs returns full-time in 2023 with opportunities to work alongside professional theatre artists and to be part of award-winning productions that are open to everyone. Students in grades 4-12 will develop acting, singing, and dancing techniques in an intensive rehearsal schedule that culminates in sold-out performances in the Elaine Wolf Theatre—not to mention friendships and memories to last a lifetime.
