THE COLLABORATIVE SCFD GRANT

27 Years of Providing Support to Teachers!

BEFORE APPLYING FOR THE GRANT:

1. Read over grant guidelines and requirements

2. Choose a Lead teacher for your team, usually it is the grant applicant.

3. Inform your Principal of your application. Ask if the school has applied for any other grants.

4. In advance, collect names, disciplines, email and phone numbers, as well as a brief statement from each teacher regarding the programs they are interested in from this list of eligible grant contributors. These are nonbinding but give the committee an idea of the types of curriculum support you’re seeking.

5. The team should also provide input to the Lead as to why your school should receive the grant. Keep it handy for the application.

6. Select a cohort of up to 180 students from one grade level. If your school is small to mid-sized, you may be able to select more than one grade level. There will be opportunities to gift programs to other grade levels or the whole school.

7. Once you have all the above information, the application should take approximately 30 minutes or less to complete.

Important: Start with a freshly opened browser link or refresh the link before beginning. Keep in mind browsers time out at about 30 minutes of inactivity. If you keep the tab open for longer than 30 minutes, you risk losing your work, even though it will appear it has gone through.
If you plan to work on the application slowly please use the save button to send yourself a link and return to it later. It’s always a good idea to save your essay answers on a separate document just in case!

You should receive a confirmation email upon successful submission. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact info@collaborativescfd.org immediately for verification. Deadline: Mon April 15, 2024
